Classroom B

12 months to 18 months

Our Program

Our toddler program is specially crafted to meet the evolving needs of children aged 12 months to 18 months. At this stage, toddlers are eager to explore, learn, and assert their independence. We promote meaningful play through a variety of centers and prop boxes, fostering problem-solving skills, spatial awareness, and effective communication with peers and educators.

Spatial Awareness
and Problem Solving

At Little Busy Beez, we foster spatial awareness and problem-solving skills through engaging activities that encourage exploration and discovery. Our toddlers learn to navigate their environment, solve puzzles, and explore cause-and-effect relationships in a supportive and stimulating setting.

Language Skills and Open-Ended Play

We promote language development and creativity through open-ended play experiences. Toddlers engage in storytelling, role-playing, and imaginative play, enhancing their communication skills and expanding their vocabulary in a fun and interactive way.

Socialization and Meaningful Activities

Socialization is key at Little Busy Beez, where toddlers participate in meaningful activities that encourage cooperation, empathy, and friendship. Through group play, collaborative projects, and guided interactions, they learn important social skills that lay the foundation for positive relationships and emotional intelligence.

Parent Guidelines

Meal

Please pack your child’s nut-free meals with an ice pack or in a thermos to keep their food at the appropriate temperature. We do not provide refrigeration or microwaving facilities.

Snacks

Pack nutritious, nut-free snacks for your child. We recommend using insulated containers to maintain freshness, as we do not provide refrigeration.

Labelling

All personal items, including meals, bottles, and clothing, must be clearly labeled with your child’s name to prevent mix-ups and ensure their belongings are kept organized and secure.

Bottles

Refrigeration is provided for all milk storage during the day. Breast milk should be labeled with the date it was pumped and can be brought in frozen in a separate container from the bottle if needed. Formula bottles need to be pre-mixed upon drop-off. For safety and warming purposes, glass and silicone bottles are not permitted.

Mornings typically start with circle time, where toddlers engage in songs, stories, and interactive games to promote social interaction and early language skills. Throughout the day, our toddlers participate in age-appropriate activities such as sensory exploration, art projects, and outdoor play to stimulate their curiosity and physical development. Structured nap times and meal periods are integrated into the schedule to ensure that each child’s needs for rest and nutrition are met.
